Hi, I'm Robert, a senior at Capistrano Valley High School in Orange County, California, enrolled in the Academy of Mathematics, Technology, and Science magnet program.

I currently serve as President of the Capistrano Unified School District FIRST Robotics Competition Team, The Robot Dolphins from Outer Space, a program spanning eight schools and over 100 students.

Previously, I founded Hack OC, the largest student hackathon in Orange County. In partnership with Anduril Industries, we brought together 72 students to build impactful projects in a competitive yet collaborative environment. All 25 teams shipped a working project, with many participants entirely new to programming.

During the summer of 2024, I completed an internship at Hack Club, a nonprofit serving tens of thousands of students worldwide. I led the organization of The Boreal Express, the organization's premier summer event—a multi-day programming adventure across Canada by train.

I plan to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering to support my goal of designing aerospace vehicles. Outside of school and robotics, I enjoy playing soccer and coding.
